Your day to day tech kit might not have enough in it for a larger show.
Larger Companies will provide most of this on show site.
But some don’t or they forget. I bring my own.
It helps me fix and troubleshoot problems.
So I bring my own Large Show Bag.

Most of the time I keep this stuff in my car.
If the show is out of town I will put my large show bag , corporate lighting gel kit and Stage Lighting Tech Kit on the truck before it leaves.
When you first get started – do not worry about having everything you see on these lists. Don’t use your own E tape or Gaff tape. The companies you work for will not pay for it.
Use theirs – That is what they bought it for.
The basic tool list will be fine. Here is a stagehand tool list – Start with this list and then figure out what else you would like to bring.
Personal items are not on this list – like advil – tums – or medication that you take. Bring what you need for a long day.
I was scheduled for a 4 hour call – years ago and it turned in to a 18 hour long day. Something to drink, snacks, candy and gum/mints.
