Working in lighting is mostly about working with other people.

These Lighting Dos and Don’ts will help you with your Likability.

People Like to hire People they Like.

Most of these tips seem simple but people remember what you do.

Story – Working a 5 day event – On the Third day I walked in 10 minutes late. The PM asked why I was late – He seemed really upset – I told him I gave someone a ride. He said “Oh, that person is always late” He thought it was odd because I am always early.

Second Story – We were setup inside for an event. I asked a stagehand to go get me a soca breakout. He walked away and did not come back. I finally had to go get the breakout. He was standing by the cable trucks. I asked him why he didn’t get me the breakout. He said he didn’t know what that was. That guy should have said that right away.

He had other issues. I no longer see him on shows.
